Jack Williams & the Nearly New Year's crew
Saturday, Dec. 28 at the UU Coffeehouse

Jack Williams with Danny Harlow, Cary Taylor, Susan Taylor, and special guests Robert Bowlin, Steve Klinck and Wayne Mason

The show begins at 7:30 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m. This special show will resemble some of the New Year’s Eve shows we’ve held over

the years. There will be two sets, the first will be a concert of original music, then the second set will open up to songs from

Jack’s years of performing, including both originals and covers. During the second set there will also be a dance floor for those who just can’t sit still anymore!

All tickets for this special show are $20. Make your reservation early!

The UU Coffeehouse listening room is located at 2701 Heyward Street, the corner of Heyward and Woodrow Streets, in Shandon.
A Note from Jack Williams

"Good news for our friends who'll be with us for our annual years-end, "almost-New-Year's-Eve" concert on December 28th, at the UU Coffeehouse in Columbia, S.C.  Joining us on the stage this year will be our good friends:

Steve Klinck
Steve Klinck
- percussionist and vocalist with my band from the 80's - FOOLS IN LOVE, and former member of Columbia's own Corbett-Urquia Band and Nappy Patch!
&

Cary Taylor, left, and Wayne Manning
Wayne Manning -bass vocalist and bass-player with our band from the 1960s, THE STATESMEN, and 7 years a sideman and songwriter, touring with the late KITTY WELLS.

As has been our custom, we'll play a long set of mostly original songs (mine and Susan Taylor's) followed by a moving back of chairs and tables to make room for *gulp* dancing to a last set of old favorite R&B and rock tunes - covers and more originals.

It'll be especially exciting having Wayne singing with us again AND having Steve playing drums with us for the first time at this annual concert. This is gonna be fun!"
